Here we have an antique 1972 CT70 in great condition and runs like new with no oil leaks. Starts on the first kick every time with no problem. All electrical items work fine as well. Seat has no rips or tears and I have replaced the exhaust, spark plug and battery. Paint is still in nice condition with very minor rust spots. It is a hard to find 4 speed clutch type and is an excellent bike for a collector as this bike has been well maintained.

It used to have a 14 tooth front sprocket, but it now has a 17. It used to have a 38 tooth rear sprocket, but now has a 31. These changes make a complete difference to the bike. It cruises effortlessly with me on it (260 lbs) and the engine doesn't have to rev up or work hard to get you moving FAST with NO LOSS of low end torque or power. What a SPECTACULAR BIKE!!! I built this bike for a friend Months ago who had nearly $5000 invested in it before he was finished. His preference was the stock look but only better with fresh chrome and polishing: Stock Shocks, Stock Forks (polished), Stock Exhaust & Stock Seat. New tires, Chrome Rims, Chrome Hubs, Chrome Bracketry where needed. This is a 36 year old SURVIVOR you have to see to believe. Is everything perfect? NO. Are there minor scratches in the paint or in hidden areas like the bottom of the seat pan? VERY FEW. Remember, it is a 36 year old ORIGINAL that has NOT been stored in a glass case all it's life.

believe to be an early 1970's Sachs dirtbike. The bike is "inside barn" fresh. Motor turns over with compression. We have not tried to start the bike. Transmission appears to shift through gears, brakes all work, all switches, choke levers...etc. are there and in good condition. Numbers on engine are 6552081. Exhaust appears to be solid and good shape, wheels in good shape, Tank is in really nice shape, as well as seat, even fenders look good. Should be easy restore, looks to be complete.

Exhaust has been modified and no longer original but I think the gaurd still is. Headlight housing has tape holding glass in and rivets in it. Engine needs work will not run with only 20 lbs compression. We have original title but owner is deceased and title was not ever signed by him. Buy it for parts or better yet get it going again!

Yamaha YAMAHA AT1 VINTAGE DIRT BIKE FOR PARTS OR ESTORE |
offer US $100.00
late sixties or early 70's vintage Yamaha AT1 enduro dirt bike. These were sold new as a dual purpose on road/off road bike. It was popular back in the day to convert them in enduro or motocross type bikes such as this. The bike is complete but does not run - turns over but there is no spark. I used to trail ride with this bike every weekend but it has been sitting for a few years and I suspect moisture has gotten the best of the points and condenser

Other Makes : Cooper Islo 250 MX ISLO Moto 250 MX - Cooper Islo 1970 vintage dirt bike |
offer US $332.71
Islo Cooper MX 250. I do not have a lot of info on this bike. I believe it is a 1970 model. This is an un-restored original. The bike was given to me in 1989 by one of my customers. There was no paperwork with it. I took the tank off and creem coated the inside, put fresh fuel in it, and it started right up. I rode it around for a couple of years, then moved on to other things and I haven't really touched it since. The bike has been kept indoors in my garage for as long as I have owned it. The bike is called the MX but it had more of a flat tracker feel to me. The motor is not seized as I can turn it easily with the kick-starter, however I have not tried to start it as it would need the fuel tank drained and the carb cleaned after sitting for so long. The bike is complete and everything is there from the last time I had it running, you should not have a problem getting it running again, if you know what you're doing. The dual sparkplug head is for switching over the plug in case it gets fouled. The tires are in good shape but the tubes are not holding air and will need to be repaired or replaced. The front is a 3.00" x 21" Bridgestone TrailWing. The rear is a 4.00" x 18" Yokohama TrailSport. The front forks are Ceriani and the rear shocks are Boge. The lower triple clamp says ARCES and "Made in Italy". I believe the Islo motor is also Italian. From what I've been told they were assembled in Mexico from Italian components and sold in the US through Cooper. The original fiberglass rear fender is off the bike but is included.

Indian Indian Dirt Bike Needs Home |
offer US $35.00
Motorcycle which is an offroad version. I do not know how old it is, but I was told it was built around 1970. I cannot verify this. When I bought this bike it looks just as it does now. I had ideas of restoring it to its original condition. Know longer have the time to do this. The engine is included. The engine has been disassembled and it was already apart when I got it. I have gone through all the components and it all seems to be there.
