If you change your own motorcycle tires or want to, this is what you will need to balance your tires just as well as your local shop, if not better. This is a Thruster precision static balancer made by Speed Unlimited. This balancer is made with the finest materials for a lifetime of use. This unit comes with one pair of precision sealed bearing balancers made with high quality ABEC rated bearings for ultra smooth performance, one 16" long precision 1/2" round ground and polished steel balancing rod for unbeatable accuracy, one pair of aerospace quality precision cnc turned 6061 aluminum balancing cones with a maximum wheel gearing/axle size of 33mm or 1 1/4". Also comes with an allen key for the set screws in the balancing cones, chalk to mark your tire, and 4-1/4 ounce stick on wheel weights (enough to do quite a few tires). Also included is Free 4 page detailed instructions on how to balance your tires. This Thruster balancer is extremely accurate down to about 2 grams. Most motorcycle shops can only balance tires down to about 5 grams, if that, with their computerized balancers. Nothing is more accurate than a Thruster precision balancer. The only thing you will need is a pair of saw horses, tall automotive jack stands or a stack of bricks or some 4x4's, any thing to raise the wheel balancers off the floor high enough to get the tire in the air. The cones included in this Thruster balancer kit can handle many motorcycles on the road from scooters to super bikes. Some bikes use lg cones ( the taper on the lg cones go from 33mm to 63mm). Honda Goldwing, VFR models, and BMW models G/R/S and K use one big cone and one regular on the rear. Ducati 9xx and Triumph sport models work best with 2 lg cones on the rear. All fronts use the standard cones that come with this kit.

Seals have been removed from bearings, grease cleaned out and are lightly oiled with a thin machine oil. Zero friction for a simple precise balance, every time!! I've put this kit together for my fellow Vmaxer's in mind, but it will work with most any motorcycle utilizing axle shafts up to 1-1/4" diameter. Snap-On WBM250 Computerized Motorcycle Wheel Balancer |

It was purchased for the shop to use back in 2000. We upgraded to a newer model earlier this year. This one still works fine. According to the Serial Number this unit was manufactured in Feburary 1999. The Balancing shaft is 11 inches Long. This not an Ideal maching for balancing 8" wide rims.
