absolutely i don't know what kind of riding you do but i have a Corbin seat and after riding for hundreds of miles i feel great spend the hundred dollars its worth it

Hey, someone has to pay for all that advertising Corbin does.
They do make good stuff but you really want to spend that much for the name? I’m sure you can find other brands for half that that are just as good. I never had a Corbin seat and after 35 plus years of long distance riding my butt is still in tact.
That’s a lot of coin, but when it comes to seats you get what you pay for. You could get away with only $ 200, but you won’t have nearly the comfort. I know you’re pain. I want a new seat too, but I don’t want to shell out a bunch of money. I’ll probably have to save for a year.
They’re good seats.
My road bike has the original seat with the foam shaved, lowering and narrowing it, and a gel pad inserted. All done at home for way less than a grand. I’ve taken several cross country trips on it.
Corbin makes a great seat, is it worth the money, depends on what kind of riding you plan to do. Mustang makes great seats at a much more reasonable cost. check them out before you buy the corbin.
I don’t know about a thousand bux…I had Corbin saddles on two of my bikes and loved them both…a firm seat is not necessarily a bad thing. I think the shape and the density of the materials makes all the difference. If you take long trips, then it’s probably woth the money.
Corbin makes an excellent seat, but they are very expensive. My husband and I never got a Corbin seat because they seemed to be too firm and we liked a little more “squish” to our seat.
Perfect fit for a third of the price.,
When searching for a Corbin backrest, I was discouraged at the high costs for something that will be used in the rare cases that I have a passenger.
At a third of the price of a brand name product, I bit.
It is made from pleather’. The grain and color is a good match to my corbin seat. The stitching is flawless and the is no visable zipper on the bottum. It comes with a bolt to secure it to the seat and eliminate theft. Although I have not used it yet, there is a screw to adjust the angle of the backrest as well.
I tried it for 2 hours one day while sitting on my bike at a rally, and fount it to be quite comfortable and plush.
The only negatives I could think of are outweighed by the great price. This includes the fact that pleather could fade after a year of direct sunlight, but this is unknown on this product, and the pleather is more sensitive to scratching as I found out after securing a bungee cord to it.
Ride Safe!
