Review by Dante H. Ventriere for Scorpio SR-i900 Motorcycle Alarm – RFID Security System – 4020-0052 Rating:
I have LoJack installed on my Honda VTX Motorcycle but wanted a security system to protect the accessories. After viewing several alarms I selected the SR-i900 for it’s features.
The alarm came complete with everything needed to wire into my bike’s electrical system with no problem at all. It took two days to install because I was working carefully and rechecking each step. Instructions provided were easy to follow. I would however, suggest you have a basic understanding of electronics or else let a professional install it.
I placed the main components under the seat and the system worked right the first time. You can also adjust the sensitivity as needed.
The cost was high but this alarm is worth every penny. Consider it an investment to safe-guard your equipment.
Only negative is that the remote to operate the system costs $116.00 if you need a replacement. Otherwise the alarm works great and is not difficult to install, highly recommended.

I have zero knowledge about the electrical thingys on my motorcycle, but I was still able to follow the instructions successfully. Little details like the 4 Zipties and 3 Scotchmate velcro patches included in the package makes for a hassle-free installation. The transceiver is has only 2 buttons, but amazingly intuitive to use despite the variety of functionalities in the i900 system.
Review by David W. Barnes for Scorpio SR-i900 Motorcycle Alarm – RFID Security System – 4020-0052 Rating:
I researched the bike protection systems and the i900 seemed to be the best feature wise. I had wired the grounding system a little too quickly and had to call customer support. A gentleman, Harley, got back to me within 24 hours and I was off on the road the next day. Aritronix, Scorpio Alarm Systs, is very helpful and will dumb down to your level-ha ha.
I’d recommend this system to anyone who catches themselves staring out a restaurant window to see if anyone is swiping their windshield or other features instead of enjoying the food.

I have installed many car and motorcycle alarms over the years…while this is the most expensive i have dealt with…it is also the highest quality…and the easiest to install !!!
It took probably 3 hours to install…the hardest part was removing all the body panels..i ordered the factory harness which makes it easier, but if you can trace a wire from a tail light, or blinker you will have no problem. If you install the anti hijack feature, you WILL have to cut one wire, and splice into the ignition circuit, i just used the wire from
the ignition at the fuse box area…it was the easiest to find…and although i didn’t need to use them, I have read many reviews that gave the tech support people high marks…so if you can afford it…i would recommend this alarm in a heartbeat !!!
It is indeed impressive.
